A wedding should be one of the best days of your life, a special day to remember! There are many things to think about when it comes to wedding day make-up and if you don't know much about make-up then how can you be expected to know the things to consider? It's not as simple as choosing make-up and applying it. You need to know things like, what ingredients cause flashback in photos, how will the make-up look in black and white photos. What do you do if you want to make spots, scars or a birthmark less noticable, cover a tattoo and how do you contour for face shape?

As a qualified make-up artist with over 10 years experience, I know all about make-up! I studied all aspects of make-up, how to contour for face shape, the right kind of make-up to use for weddings. I studied fashion and photographic make-up so I know what to use and what to avoid for wedding photographs. I'm also a skin camouflage practitioner so I can make scars, birthmarks, etc less noticeable and I can also camouflage a tattoo. Knowing what I do about make-up means you don't have to think about it, I can make sure your make-up is just perfect on the day. All you'll need to do is sit back, relax and be pampered!

 Wedding preview, what to expect.

A wedding preview is where you get the opportunity to try out different looks, it's often known as a trial but I like to call it a preview because by the end, you are previewing how your make-up will look on your wedding day. If you have something definite in mind then great! We can go for it and see how it looks but with most brides to be, I find we try several different looks, tweaking one element of another until we find the perfect look for you. This is your time and I want to enjoy it, have fun and make sure you have found the look you want. I would always allow 2-3 hours for a preview, obviously this depends on the service, whether it's for make-up or hair and make-up and whether you have in mind the kind of make-up you'd like or not. Having an image of your desired look is always helpful so please feel free to bring them along.
